The focus of our programs is to provide our children with the opportunity to explore new topics.
General Information
Enrichment classes are offered after school in three sessions:
Fall (October-early Dec.)Winter (January-mid March) and Spring(April-May)
Each session consists of 8 classes. Each session explores different topics.
Enrollment is limited to 12 children. Children will be registered on a first-come,
first-served basis. To ensure your child's placement, please respond as soon
as possible.
Fee
Each session is $250.
Class Descriptions
There is a smooth transition to or from your child's class.

Explorations: Thursday, 3:15 -4:15 pm
The inherent sense of inquiry provides the foundation for our "Explorations"
class each week. We will start each day with a specific topic and question,
introduce scientific vocabulary during engaging activities which provide many
opportunities for the children to problem solve and investigate.

Make Way to Literacy: Lunch Bunch: Monday, 11:30-12:45 pm
Children will bring their lunch to school and eat it at GCNS.
After lunch, children will engage in a variety of literacy experiences using books as
springboards that provide opportunities for children to practice many literacy skills,
special activities and author studies. Some of the activities will include:
developing vocabulary and sentence structure, phonological awareness, letter knowledge.
Additional Class
The Children's Music Workshop With Fran Rissland:
This is a music workshop which Fran Rissland holds after class.
The main goal of the worship is to develop music competence and to introduce a
few of the great composers and some of their music in an atmosphere that is playful.
This is not a duplication of their school music program.
Group 3 meets: Friday, 11:30-12:15
Group 5 meets: Tuesday, 3:15-3:55
Classes begin late September-mid May.
Fee: $575 paid in three payments.
